This 1988 Carrera is the ultimate track day classic Porsche. The current owner is a well-known and respected driving instructor who has taken countless aspiring drivers for ride-along laps at tracks throughout the Southeast. It is, without question, the cleanest, spare-no-expense, track-day classic 911 we have ever seen as the photos and details listed prove. It is available at our Charleston, SC facility for $$$$$
Built with the same care and precision the current owner uses in his career as a commercial airline pilot, this Carrera is equally suited to the track or Porsche shows that respect tastefully modified cars. Paint and bodywork are near flawless, the engine and gearbox have few miles since comprehensive rebuilds, and, perhaps most impressive, the Carrera comes complete with several hundred pages of documents tracking every modification, every repair, and every pre-track-session checklist.
Furthermore, the list of improvements and modifications is a virtual checklist of the best components available:
-Escargo headers
-Burns exhaust
-complete Smart Racing suspension (monoballs, camberplates, adjustable swaybars, etc…,)
-Bilstein shocks
-RUF “Yellow Bird” front and rear bumpers

Furthermore, all of these modifications were done here at Autometrics Motorsports, with our own Cory Friedman carefully dialing in the suspension both on track and on our laser alignment equipment. The engine and gearbox have been completely rebuilt in-house to a street/track spec in the last 1500 or so miles and the Carrera stands ready to tackle winding roads and road courses with its new owner.
